About Elena Diaz-Acosta
Elena Diaz-Acosta
Voice Teacher & Music Therapist
For more than a decade, I’ve helped singers of every age and ability find the freedom, technique, and confidence they need to shine—whether that means acing a specialized-high-school audition, commanding a professional opera stage, or simply belting their favorite pop anthem with joy. As a native Spanish speaker who has taught in both English and Spanish at a bilingual school, I specialize in guiding students through classical, Broadway, K-Pop, Latin, and contemporary commercial styles while honoring each singer’s unique cultural voice.
My studio blends conservatory-level vocal science with the creativity of music therapy. Drawing on my background as a Pre-K special-needs music teacher and certified music therapist, I tailor lessons for neurodivergent and differently-abled singers, “Mommy-and-Me” duos, busy adult beginners, and seasoned professionals alike. Expect a holistic approach—breath work, healthy registration, diction in six languages, acting for singers, mindfulness strategies, and audition or recording preparation—delivered in a warm, inclusive space (in-person in NYC or worldwide online).
Former students have earned placement at top conservatories, booked national Broadway tours, launched Latin-pop singles, and, most importantly, discovered lifelong vocal wellness. If you’re ready to unlock your full artistic range—with a teacher who celebrates your goals, your language, and your learning style—I’d love to welcome you to the studio
